Empowering Teens to Make Confident Life Decisions
Teens Taking Flight (TTF) seeks to offer social opportunities, workplace experience, and recreational outlets for teenagers and young adults with disabilities. TTF will provide safe, educational, and entertaining growth opportunities for teenagers and young adults with cross disabilities. The Teens Taking Flight program is run by the participants with support from Abilities in Motion (AIM) staff.
Our goal is to provide youth with activities that will expand their physical, social, and recreational opportunities by providing planned monthly activities to be held in a comfortable and accessible environment. Abilities in Motion hopes to empower teens to make confident life decisions.
Who can participate?
Any youth or young adult with a disability from age 14 to 25. TTF is free to join and stay involved!

TTF Youth Mentors
TTF Youth Mentors are adults who also have disabilities. They assist the TTF youth during the meetings. The mentors are available to the youth to help them achieve their goals as they transition from high school to the adult world. All youth mentors, as well as Abilities in Motion staff, have child abuse clearances and criminal background checks.
