Shelly started as a Service Coordinator in 2015 and transitioned into the CIL Department in 2017. As the Disability Resource Manager, she creates educational presentations and attends seminars, symposiums, and events on relevant disability issues. Shelly has a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from East Stroudsburg University and an Associate of Arts in Photography from Marywood University. Prior to joining Abilities in Motion, Shelly managed the Philadelphia marketing region for Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics and has freelanced as a Script Supervisor on over 30 films, TV, corporate and commercial projects on the East Coast. Her passion for disability advocacy has earned her the 2019 NCIL advocacy award in Washington DC.
