Loan Exchange Assistance Program

Independent Living Department

Abilities in Motion's Loan Exchange Assistance Program (LEAP) is an initiative that receives and loans out assistive technology equipment and other durable medical equipment to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and to maintain their independence and accessibility to home and community.

Donations may be written off as a tax donation and need to be dropped off at the main AIM office during regular business hours.  All items are inspected, cleaned, and processed before being reassigned to an individual in need.  Depending on the item, there is a nominal process fee.

The LEAP program is funded through a grant from the PA Initiative for Assistive Technology and TechOWL.
